Small changes can make big differences! Start with these little substitutes.
- Use non-fat plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream to save 44 calories an ounce. Great for Mexican and Italian recipes!
- Substitute flavored vinegars (balsamic, raspberry, rice vinegar, etc) for salad dressings and marinades. 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar has only 14 calories.
- Use applesauce instead of butter and/or oil in baking. It can replace up to half the fat in baked goods without sacrificing flavor!
